Folklore explains in Tarikh-e-Murad that Mo'e the mother queen of a Hindu Raja Rai Hans was gifted this residency/ castle by his son at the time of 11 Hindu Raj. Later the Makhdom family joined this place and due to the shrine of Hazrat Hameed Ud Din Hakim placed called Mao Mubarak.
